Solomon Hills Vineyard is under the same ownership and management as the world famous Bien Nacido Vineyard. Two black fruit personalities (Swiss clone 23 and Dijon clone 667) were chosen to produce a counterpart to our largely red fruit-driven pinots made from other vineyards. Black raspberry, black cherry and blueberry and peppered with hints of cola and spice to complete this hefty pinot.

Solomon Hills Vineyard is a relatively new vineyard under the same ownership and management as the world famous Bien Nacido Vineyard. We selected the thicker skinned Swiss clone 23 to blend with Dijon clone 667 to produce an amazingly dark, rich, fruit-forward wine which highlights bold black fruit flavors. This wine is for those that enjoy bold Cali pinots!

The Cargasacchi Jalama Vineyard is located on Jalama Road, west of the Santa Rita Hills AVA, a few miles from the Pacific Ocean. This pinot noir is a blend of two clones: Mt. Eden and 115. The classic Mt. Eden gives the wine a rich nose and long, satisfying finish, while the "new kid" 115 gives the wine its mid-palette punch. Winegrower Peter Cargasacchi did an amazing job growing this fruit and we are very proud to make this wine each year.
